Chancellor Masrour Barzani receives Romania Ambassador to Iraq.

Chancellor Masrour Barzani received today Romania Ambassador to Iraq Iacob Prada and discussed measures to advance bilateral relations and trade. During the meeting, both officials reviewed political developments in Iraq, including recent parliamentary elections.

Chancellor Barzani said Kurdistan Region seeks equality and partnership in a new government based on a common agenda and the full implementation of the Constitution. He added that the Constitution should also determine the framework of Erbil-Baghdad ties.

Chancellor Barzani and Ambassador Prada touched on internal political differences and efforts to advance a strong, united position in the political process.
