On June 9 1985 war planes of the Ba’ath regime raided the Zewa refugee camp in Iran, killed and wounded a large number of Innocent poeple woman and children included.
In addition to the enormity of the great catastrophe that afflicted our people that day it is an important day filled with lessons in the history of steadfastness and sacrifice of our people.
The calamity of Zewa is lessons for all of us and for our friends. when are bereaved fighter like Mother Amina colleted part of the bodies of her children torn Ba’ath plane she taught us a lesson which meant; Even if the enemy cuts our bodies into pieces we will never bow down. there is no surrounding in the dictionary of the struggle of the people of Kurdistan this is a path of freedom for an oppressed people because freedom comes at a cost. We must make a sacrifices and not to lose hope. we will carry on and shall never surrender.
The Zewa Massacre was also a lesson for the enemy, since no matter how unjust and brutal the enemy might be, it cannot undermine the will of our people, and this is the true victory of our people over its immoral enemy.
in memory of that a disaster will never forget the pieces of flesh and the precious bodies of the children of Zewa because they are the flame of our struggle and steadfastness.
Greeting to the martyrs of Zewa and the martyrs of the path of freedom, greeting to the steadfastness of courage of Mother Amina and the families and The Mothers of martyrs of Kurdistan.
