Prime Minister Barzani and president Erdoğan Conducted a telephone conversation.

Kurdistan Regional Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and the Presudent of the Republic of Turkey RecepTayyip Erdoğan exchanged views during a telephone conversation on July 2nd 2018.

At the start of the telephone call PM Nechirvan Barzani conveyd his warm congratulations to the President Erdoğan on his victory and the victory of his party in the presidential and parliamentary elections, and wished them success while President Erdoğan thanked the PM Barzani for his congatulations.

During the conversation,Prime Minister and President Erdoğan discussed the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Turkey and stressed the promotion and development of bilateral relations in all fields and described the relation between Erbil and Ankara as important to both sides. The two sides also discussed the situatioon in the region and the current developmwents.
