President Masoud Barzani received a joint negotiating delegation of the Fatih Alliance and the coalition of the State of law.

At the meeting which was held today in Pirmam, the guest delegation referred to the role and status of President Barzani in rebuilding Iraq, the sacrifices of the people of Kurdistan and the pain and misery they endured for many years. They spoke about the historical relations between the people of Kurdistan and the Iraqi political forces and their common sacrifices during the struggle against dictatorship. For the sake of stability, genuine partnership and overcoming the current political challenges in Iraq, they called on all parties to start a new phase that does not repeat the mistakes of the past, and they also pointed to the impossibility of any gains by any party and the impossibility of managing the political process in Iraq without real compromise and partnership.

On another theme of the meeting, the guest delegation presented the political views of the Fatih Alliance and the state of the Law coalition to President Barzani; they highlighted their views regarding the formation of a large Bloc in parliament and the writing of the country's governing program for the next phase.

At the same meeting, views were exchanged on the challenges and the implementation of the Constitution. The two sides agreed on the need to make the historical relations and the implementation of the Constitution and commitment to logic, wisdom, and the principles of partnership, compromise and balance in the foundation for the political process. They saw the need for creating the formation of a large Parliamentary bloc and the new government under those three principles, and the need to return of all parties to the foundations and principles on which the new Iraq was founded after 2003.
