The Secretary of the Political Bureau of Kurdistan Democratic Party, Fazil Mirani, announced that the two delegations of "Fatih" alliance led by Hadi Al-Amri and the State of law Coalition led by Nouri al-Maliki.

In a statement to reporters after a meeting with the two delegations in Erbil, Mirani said both the "Fatih" coalition and the state of law have put forward their visions in order to form the largest bloc consisted of the Kurds, the Sunni and Shiites in a manner that there is no opposition to it, and to resolve the problems of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

He added that there are shared viewpoints which have brought us together in this area, arguing that now we cannot take practical steps in shaping the bloc unless the manual recounting and sorting of the votes are completed, and the results of the legislative elections are ratified by the Federal Supreme Court.

Mirani said Kurdistan Democratic Party has a joint delegation to visit Baghdad to agree on the mechanisms for forming the bloc, stressing that there must be inclusiveness to all parties and political actors so that the previous mistakes that led to the problems in Iraq are not repeated.

Hassan al-Sanaid, a leader in the state of law, told reporters that there are many shared points among the Iraqi forces, and we are here to discuss with our brothers the Kurds on how to work in the next phase and how to overcome the problems and differences that have confronted the political process. The Fatih coalition, which came second in the Iraqi parliamentary elections, said that its delegation's visit to Erbil was aimed at presenting its political project to the winning Kurdish forces, particularly the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani.
