Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani together with a large number of presidents, prime ministers and senior officials of the world's nations participated, on Monday, 9 July 2018, in the inauguration ceremony of Recep Tayyip Er

During the ceremony, the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region was greeted by President Erdogan, and during a brief meeting, Prime Minister Barzani congratulated President Erdogan on the occasion of assuming his duties as President of the Turkish Republic. The two sides stressed the good relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey and the importance of consolidating and strengthening those relationships.

On the side lines of the ceremony, The Prime Minister held a number of meetings with Abdullah Gul, former President of the Republic of Turkey, Prime Minister of Turkey, the President of Sudan, the Emir of Qatar, the Palestinian Prime Minister, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the delegation of Montenegro, the delegation of Italy, the delegation of Azerbaijan, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy and the economy of Turkey and the delegations of a number of other States participating in the ceremony.
