Hoshyar Siwaily Receiving japan consul General in Kurdistan

Today July 23rd, 2018 The Head of the Foreign Relations Office of Kurdistan Democratic Party Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily received at the Office the Japanese Consul General to Kurdistan Mr. Katsumi Moriyasu.

First and on behalf of Kurdistan Democratic Party Mr. Hoshyar siwaily expressed his deepest sadness and conveyed his condolences to him and through him to the people and government of Japan for recent flood that hit the country and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded people.

The Consul general Mr. Moriyasu thanked Mr. Siwaily and the Kurdistan democratic Party for his kind words concerning the victims, traumatized and wounded people. Then he talked about the new measures that the Japanese government considering to avoid the threat of any similar natural disaster in the future.

Later, both sides talked about the general situation overall and they exchanged views over mechanisms of bringing Kurdistan Region and Japan closer to each other and have more interaction. Also Mr. Siwaily reiterated his full support and readiness for any help he can offer to facilitate their work in Kurdistan Region.

At the end of the meeting the Consul General Mr. Moriyasu thanked Mr. Siwaily for his time and his contentious support.
