President Masoud Barzani sent a congratulatory message to the clerics, sisters and brothers of the Yazidis in Kurdistan and the world on the occasion of the Yazidis Summer Festive.

On the occasion of the Summer Festive in the Yazidi religion, I extend my

warmest congratulations to the clergy, sisters and Brothers of the Yazidis in

Kurdistan and the World. This feast comes at a time when Kurdistan is still

wounded by the catastrophe that has struck our Yazidi sisters, brothers, and

our people in general by terrorists, that injustice must never be forgotten.

In the hope that this feast will become the beginning of the return of our Yazidi

sisters and brothers to their normal lives, and that they will be able to practise

their religious rituals, festivals and joys in a stable, peaceful and secure

environment.
