Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party - Foreign Relations Office received Consul General of Japan and student delegation from Japan-Kurdistan Friendship Association.

Hoshyar Siwaily, Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) - Foreign Relations Office (FRO) Hosted Mr. Katsumi Moriyasu Consul General Of Japan In Kurdistan Region. H.E. Katsumi Moriyasu was accompanied by three University students from collage of law and International Relations in one of the most prestigious universities of Japan.  The Japanese students are active members of Japan-Kurdistan Student Association within the Japan-Kurdistan Friendship Association.

 

Japan - Kurdistan Friendship Association is headed by Mr Kinoshita Akinobu, a close and sincere supporter of the people of Kurdistan. The same association is active in Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan- Japan Friendship Association). During the meeting Mr. Siwaily commended MR Moriyasu for his role in strengthening ties between Japan and the Kurdistan Region.

The three young Japanese students have come to Kurdistan to get familiar with the Kurdish Culture, the social life here and to have direct contact with the people of Kurdistan and hear the history of Kurdistan.

 

 

Japan- Kurdistan Friendship Association are planning to widen this program by inviting students from Kurdistan to Japan and bring more Japanese students to Kurdistan to exchange information and experiences. These young students and their friends have organized a number of different activities in Tokyo to support Kurdistan and introduce Kurdistan to the People of Japan.

 

Mr. Moriyasu Consul General of Japan, expressed his appreciation to the KDP-FRO for the assistance of students and emphasize the importance of such visits that lead to better cultural relations between the two nations. Head of KDP-FRO reiterated his office’s support and facilitation for the delegation and the program they have to strengthen the relations between the two nations, and wish the organization very best.
