President Barzani receives the Consul General of the UAE to Kurdistan Region

In a meeting with the UAE Consul General in Erbil, President Masoud Barzani assessed the roles and charitable activities of the United Arab Emirates in helping refugees and displaced persons in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and stressed the importance of continued friendship and relations between the two sides. On 19 August 2018 in Salahadeen, Rashid Al Mansouri, the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Erbil, was received by President Masoud Barzani. During the meeting, the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates conveyed a special message from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the UAE, to President Barzani. President Barzani expressed his thanks to the Crown prince and the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates for the charitable actions and activities of the UAE in helping refugees and displaced persons in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, stressing the importance of continued friendship and relations between the two sides.
