Prime Minister Barzani receives a Russian senior delegation

The delegation expressed appreciation for the cooperation and assistance provided to Russian companies by the Kurdistan Regional Government, expressing hope for the continuation and development of these relations and cooperation.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his government’s willingness to provide any assistance that would help improve the work and activities of Russian companies in the Kurdistan Region, particularly in the field of energy.

He pointed out that as the Kurdistan Region is currently witnessing economic recovery and as perspectives of economic development become more and more evident, the Kurdistan Regional Government will continue to provide facilities and incentives to foreign investors.

The political and security developments in the region in general were also discussed in the meeting.
