Masrour Barzani Chancellor of Kurdistan Security Council met with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy

Chancellor Masrour Barzani received today U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Brett McGurk and discussed continued negotiations to form a new, inclusive and representative Iraqi Federal Government.

During the meeting, attended by Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Silliman and Consul General in Erbil Steven Fagin, Chancellor Barzani reaffirmed the strong partnership between Kurdistan Region and the United States, and the importance of long-term security and military cooperation.
