Prime Minister Barzani receives the new Speaker of Iraqi Council of Representatives

They stressed that a successful outcome of the current political process in Iraq is that which would be built on the principles of balance, consensus and genuine partnership between all Iraqi parties. They hoped that the next phase in Iraq will be that of stability, security, development of the country in all fields, providing services and rebuilding constructive bilateral relations with countries in the region and the world.

Both sides hoped the differences between the Kurdistan Region and Iraqi federal government will be solved through the new parliament and government within the framework of the Iraqi constitution.

Prime Minister Barzani hoped that the resolutiuons and laws of the current term of the Iraqi parliament will serve Iraq and its communities and play a role in resolving the challenges which the country faces.
