Prime Minster Nechirvan Barzani meets with Adel Abdul Mahdi Prime Minister designate

In the framework of his visit to Baghdad, Kurdistan Regional Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani, and meets the Prime Minister of the Iraqi Federal Government Adel Abdul Mahdi.

During the meeting, both Prime Ministers Designate and KRG Prime Minister discussed the latest political and security developments in the region in general and in Iraq in particular, the political process and the relations between Erbil and Baghdad.  The PMs of the Regional government and Federal Government stressed the important of continuation of talks to resolve outstanding problems between two sides within the Iraqi constitution.

On the other side of the meeting, the issue of the forming a new Iraqi government was discussed, and the two sides agreed that the new government would respond to constitutional demands and rights for all components of Iraq.
