Hemin Hawrami meets delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross

A delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party they were welcomed by the head of the foreign relations office Hemin Hawrami and other members of the office.

Several compliments of praise were made to Beatrice Augist, a former official of ICRC, who was not present during the visit, by Mr Hawrami on behalf of the KDP and wished her success in her new work. Mr Hawrami welcomed Aluonur Bernard and congratulates her for her new position in the ICRC in Kurdistan, and announced his full support and cooperation of the Foreign Relations.

The ICRC delegation recalled their past work and highlighted their plans for the future and expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of their projects in an atmosphere of security and stability in Kurdistan.

Mr Hawrami spoke on the political situation of: human rights, fundamental freedoms, and democratic coexistence in Kurdistan. He explicitly stated the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is proud there are no political prisoners in Kurdistan
