Prime Minister nechirvan Barzani receives Turkish ambassador to Iraq

Ambassador Yildiz congratulated Prime Minister Barzani on the success of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections.

He stressed the need for the participation of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq's political process and the formation of the new Iraqi government. They also emphasized the importance of continued dialogue between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad in order to settle the diffrences within the framework of the Iraqi constitution.

Prime Minister Barzani and Ambassador Yildiz expressed their willingness to strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the commercial and economic fields.

Prime Minister Barzani stated that the Kurdistan political parties will participate in the new government in Baghdad. He also discussed the Kurdistan parliamentary elections and the political situation in the wider region.
