We were very pleased with the release of Abdulrahman Apo, a member of the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan – Syria, who was held in the Democratic Union Part PYD's prisons.

In fact, a militant like Apo was supposed to be a prisoner in the enemy cells and not in a prison belonging to a Kurdish party. We wish this step to be the beginning of the release of all the prisoners of the Democratic Union Party PYD, and locating all the missing activists there.

We hope that the West of Kurdistan will now undergo a political inclusiveness and that the citizens and political parties will not be harmed and imprisoned for their political opinions.
