Prime Minister Of Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani , US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran Andrew Peek, Review Erbil-USA-Baghdad Relations

Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani received Andrew Peek, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran. 

PM Barzani and Andrew Peek exchanged views on the latest political situations and developments in the region, Mr. Peek we are welcoming the progress in Erbil-Baghdad relations after a period of disagreements and tensions.

The US Deputy Assistance Secretary of State reiterated the importance of Kurdistan Region’s contribution to the political process in Baghdad, especially since the establishment of a new government in the capital.

They also welcomed the agreement between Kurdistan Region and Iraq to jointly resume the oil exports from Kirkuk.
