Hemin Hawrami asks the UN to have a clear position on the Dejlla operations

Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party foreign relations office Mr Hemin Hawrami today met the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq and Kurdistan Envoy Mr Sokol Kondi to discuss both sides perspective on the latest developments and clashes in the detached area of Kirkuk.
The main reason for the meeting was to discuss the latest developments and concerns in the detached area of Kirkuk, also the Dejlla operations. "We have recently seen an unethical systematic military agenda in the detached area from Nuri al-Maliki, Iraq's Prime Minister." Mr Hawrami said. “We would like to express ourselves very clearly; the Kurdish region will not accept certain military action in the area, for that matter, we must be prepared.”
Mr Hawrami asked for a clear cut position on these issues from the UNAMI and stated that they must work accordingly by the decision of Security Council Resolution 1770. Mr Kondi made it clear the topic was being discussed at the UNAMI offices and the UN is very worried about the developments in the area.
