President of Kurdistan receives Turkish Ambassador to Iraq

President Massoud Barzani today meets Turkish Ambassador in Iraq, Yuenos Dimer

At the meeting, which was attended by the Turkish Consulate in Erbil, they discussed relations between Kurdistan and Turkey in the interest of the Kurdish and Turkish people.

Mr Barzani emphasized the Kurdistan region’s support for political, economic and commercial bilateral relations between the two parties.

The Turkish Ambassador highlighted the importance of their relationship with the Kurdistan region and stressed Mr Barzani’s positive role in further enhancing their strategic developments.

During the meeting, they also discussed the current political situation in Iraq.
