President Masoud Barzani Receives a UK Ambassador to Iraq and Diplomatic Delegation

President Masoud Barzani received a United Kingdom diplomatic delegation headed by Mr. Jonathan Wilks, the UK ambassador to Iraq. During the meeting, President Barzani and Ambassador Wilks spoke of the political developments both in the Kurdistan Region and in Iraq, particularly the process of the government formation in both Baghdad and Erbil.

The two sides expressed their senses of optimism for a better Iraq where a more inclusive government can begin to serve the people of Iraq. The President and ambassador Wilks also spoke of new avenues where the UK-Kurdistan Region relations can be further strengthened for the pursuit of mutual benefit.
