President Masoud Barzani arrived in Amman and received by His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan

Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II received President Massoud Barzani  at the Husseiniya palace in Amman and his accompanying delegation. The two sides discussed the political situation and the latest developments and changes in the situation in the region.

 

In the framework of his visit to the Kingdom of Jordan, which came at the official invitation of the Jordanian King Abdullah II  on Sunday evening at the Husseiniya Palace in Amman the capital. President Massoud Barzani and his accompanying delegation included Hoshyar Zebari member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Political Bureau.

 

During the meeting, which was attended by Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Senior advisor to the King, the Chief of the Royal Court, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Director General of Jordan, the political situation and the latest developments in the region were discussed.

 

On the other side of the meeting highlighted the bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan as well as the relations between the region and Jordan and Iraq, and stressed the historical relations between the two sides.

 

Other aspect of the meeting was to discuss Cooperation and coordination for the stability, development and security of the region and the fight against terrorism, violence and extremism.

The Jordanian monarch held a dinner yesterday evening in honor of President Barzani.
