UN delegation visits KDP Foreign Relations Office

A United Nations delegation involving Womens Affairs Officer & UN Envoy in Iraq Miss Francesca, a UN Envoy for Equality Affairs, Miss Edamema visited the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office in Salahadin-Erbil where they were welcomed by its Head of Department Mr Hemin Hawrami and members of the Kurdistan parliament.

The visiting delegation discussed educational courses on how to solve problems and difficulties, leadership qualities of women for the female members of the Kurdistan Parliament. They demanded that all parties should cooperate for the program to reach success.

Mr Hawrami emphasised the support and cooperation of KDP to the United Nations Program. He also stressed to the importance of equality between Kurdistan women alongside men to develop their skills and participate in the political, economical and cultural processes.
