UK hopes for speedy KRG formation

Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office Hoshyar Siwaily received  the Head of political section in the Erbil office of UK Consulate  Sara Marsh and Jonathan Tan deputy head of Iraqi unit in Foreign and commonwealth Office on Thursday 21 February.

The Kurdistani political affairs, discussions among the different factions involved in forming the next Government and future relations with other Kurdish parties were subjects of the meeting.

Siwaily expressed gratitude to the UK Government and People for their efforts, continues assistance and toil in the recent history throughout the challenges we have had faced.

On their part both Ms. Marsh and Mr. Tan expressed pleasure for the visit and the reception and urged all sides to come to a speedy conclusion to the process of the formation and hoped these meetings would carry on to keep strengthening the bilateral ties between both nations.
