Academic delegation from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia visited Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office.

Hoshyar Siwaily received Academic delegation from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia,the delegation headed by political scientist Dr. Jozef. Lenc. Mr. Siwialy welcomed the delegation as this was the first time visiting Kurdistan and wish them well during they stay here in Kurdistan.  The head of KDP-FRO brief the guests on the latest political and economic situation in Kurdistan and Iraq. Siwaily explained that from the establishment of Iraq all of the governments have some way or another tried oppressing the people of Kurdistan in some stage deal with the Kurds in the most inhumane way, for example in the 1980s Anfal Campaign and Chemical attack which over 200 thousand people were killed or buried alive in the desert of south of Iraq.  Despite all of those barbaric treatment people of Kurdistan never resort to violence or revenge against other ethics group in Iraq.

Furthermore,Mr. Siwialy explained latest political development and relations with Federal government and regional counties. During the meeting discussed the political process in Kurdistan Region and the way forward. 

 

Dr. Jozef. Lenc thanked KDP-FRO for the opportunity to discuss the view and the Party views and policy for current situation in the region, peace and security of the Middle East is very import for the world peace as whole for Europe especially. He also mentioned the plan of his University to open a new faculty Middle East study and the aim of the visit is to have better understanding on the region and establish relations with academic and other institution to enrich the view an plan for the faculty plan to open next year.  

The head of KDP-FRO express his office's support to facilitate and provide all necessary assitance for the opening middle East Study Faculty in the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
