President Barzani and KDP Political Bureau meet PUK in Suleymania

  President of Kurdistan-region Massoud Barzani met with senior Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) officials in Suleymania today accompanied by KDP political bureau delegation. They were received by Kosrat Rasul Ali, Barham Salih and Mulla Bakhtiar, head of PUK political bureau. Their talks were presided by President Barzani. In a news conference that followed discussions, Mr Barzani informed what had been discussed in their meeting and wished a full recovery to Iraqi President Jalal Talabani. He said: “Our visit to Suleymania is to deliver the message we are with you and are ready in the future to be with you. Mam Jalal is not only necessary for the Patriotic Union, but is necessary for the Kurdistan Democratic Party and all parties within.”
