Barzani Receives Palestinian Consul General in Erbil

Kurdish prominent leader and the former president of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, received on Tuesday the Consul General of Palestine in Erbil to discuss the regional politics and bilateral ties.

Nazmi Hzouri, the Palestinian diplomat, praised the role of Barzani in developing a “stable” Kurdistan Region where the culture of peaceful coexistence between different components is valuable.

They also discussed the relations between Kurdistan and Palestine, and welcomed initiatives to further bolster the ties.
