Barzani Receives Saudi Minister of State in Erbil
Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani Received on Tuesday a Saudi delegation headed by Thamer al-Sabhan, the Minister of State for Gulf Affairs.
Barzani and Sabhan exchanged views on the latest political and security developments in the region, according to an official readout of the meeting.
Discussing the relations between Erbil and Riyadh and ways to foster the ties was also on the agenda.
Sabhan arrived in Erbil a day earlier to also attend the inauguration ceremony for the new president of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani.
