The President Nechirvan Barzani Meets with the President of Iraq

In Baghdad, His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region met with Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih, the President of Iraq.

The meeting was held at As-Salam Palace. In the meeting the resolving of outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad were underlined, and it was stressed that the issues be resolved in accordance to the Iraqi Constitution.

Both sides highly regarded the visit of the delegation of Kurdistan Region to Baghdad for further strengthening the relations between Erbil – Baghdad and reinforce the role of legal institutions and collaboration among all political factions in Iraq.

Also, in the meeting, it was stressed that real dialogue are initiated in accordance to the constitution which would strengthen friendly relations. Furthermore, the latest political developments in the wider region and the world were also discussed.
