President Barzani meets Iraqi Arab tribe delegation

 

Kurdistan-region President Massoud Barzani received today a delegation from the Iraqi Arab tribes headed by Sheikh Mir Fawaz Mohammed Diab Jarba Amir Shammar tribe.

In the meeting, Mir Fawaz Mohammed presented proposals to end the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil on behalf of the Arab Tribes of Iraq to President Barzani.

He announced that the tribes interfered in the national conflict as they are against it and stressed the role of the Arab tribes in solving Iraq's problems, which threaten the unity of Iraq.

Mr Barzani welcomed their proposals and confirmed the Kurdistan-region does want an end to violence, use of weapons and sectarian conflicts in Iraq.
