President Nechirvan Barzani Received Dutch Ambassador to Iraq Matthias Wolters and Netherlands Thanks Kurdistan for Hosting IDPs, and Refugees.

Netherlands has thanked the Kurdistan Region for hosting such a great number of IDPs and Syrian refugees in the past few years.

The message was conveyed by the Dutch Ambassador to Iraq Matthias Wolters during a farewell visit to President Nechirvan Barzani on Tuesday in Erbil, where he also thanked the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for its support to the Netherlands' mission in the region.

Wolters said that his country takes the improved relations between Erbil and Baghdad into a great consideration.

Barzani in return, hailed the Dutch envoy's service in Iraq, wishing him success in his future tasks.

He further stressed on the Kurdistan Region's willingness to strengthen its ties with Netherlands, briefing the foreign official with the latest political developments concerning the relations between Erbil and Baghdad.
