Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani reiterated his cabinet’s commitment to developing a diverse economy and attracting more foreign investments.
Speaking during the opening ceremony of the Project Iraq Exhibition in Erbil, PM Barzani reminded that a diversified economy that will not solely depend on oil remains on the top of the priorities of his cabinet.
He hoped the exhibition will connect domestic and foreign businesses and it could invite more investments.
“We will provide every help possible to businesses and investors. We will further ease the process of registration and operation for companies,” the Kurdish prime minister said.
The Project Iraq Exhibition provides a space for domestic and international businesses to showcase their products and services. It lasts for four days with 300 companies from 24 countries showcasing at the event.
