Barzani, Opposition Leader Meet on Syrian Crisis

Kurdish prominent leader and president of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, received on Saturday the leader of Syria's Tomorrow Movement Ahmed Jarba in Erbil to discuss the recent developments in Syria.

During their meeting, Barzani and Jarba shed light on the latest political and security affairs in Syria, according to a statement by Barzani's office.

Barzani, who previously served as the President of the Kurdistan Region, further expressed strong concerns over the deteriorated situation in Syria and the displacement of over 100,000 civilians due to Turkish offensive in northeast of the country.
