PM Barzani Calls for End of Violence in Syrian Kurdistan

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday received a delegation from the Syrian opposition headed by Ahmed Jarba, the president of Syria's Tomorrow Movement, to discuss the evolving crisis in Syria.

During the meeting, Barzani and Jarba exchanged views on the current situation in the Syrian Kurdish areas, emphasizing the importance of finding a peaceful alternative and ending war immediately.

They also rejected any attempt that could impact the demography of the mainly Kurdish-populated areas.
