President of Iraqi Kurdistan-region Massoud Barzani met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying the President who touched on the relations between the two parties and the problems of Iraq and the latest developments in the Syrian situation.
Regarding relations between the Kurdistan-region and Turkey, both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of their relationship and stressed the depth of it that serves both parties and the region.
President Barzani said, on the situation in Iraq, that the current political situation should not be persistent and must be corrected, the Kurdistan Regional with other parties in Iraq are constantly trying to find a fundamental solution to all the problems as it is affecting the political process in Iraq.
Mr Barzani said on Syria that they have close to 60,000 refugees in Kurdistan-Iraq and described the Syrian situation as complex. Foreign Minister Davutoglu stressed on recent developments and Syrian refugees in Turkey amounts to 105,000
