Nerchirvan Barzani receives Bulgarian Foreign Minister , Foreign Minister Maladenov announced the opening of the Bulgarian Consulate in Erbil in the near future

Prime Minister of Kurdistan-region Nerchirvan Barzani today met Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Maladenov and his accompanying delegation.

At the meeting, they discussed developing imperative bilateral relations between the Kurdistan-region, Iraq and Bulgaria.

Foreign Minister Maladenov announced the opening of the Bulgarian Consulate in Erbil in the near future, adding he hoped to provide an opportunity for companies to make investments in Kurdistan.

Mr Barzani welcomed the decision to open the Bulgarian consulate and their investments, describing it as an important step forward.

In another aspect of their meeting, Mr Barzani conversed that all problems between Erbil and Baghdad should be resolved through dialogue with accordance to the constitution.
