Barzani, ENKS Leadership Discuss Syrian Kurdistan

Kurdistan National Council of Syria (ENKS) leadership met with Kurdish prominent leader and president of the ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on Tuesday, discussing the current situation and future of Syrian Kurdistan.

President Barzani and Saood Mala, the ENKS leader, expressed concerns over the attempts to change the demography of the Kurdish areas in northern Syria by the Islamist rebels in the region.

They also exchanged possible roadmaps to secure a safe future for the Kurds in Syria in the face of the current challenges.
