President Nechirvan Barzani discuss the situation in Iraq with the US Ambassador

His Excellency President Nechirvan Barzani reiterated the keenness of the Kurdistan region and its interest to help and find a solution for current situation of Iraq.  President Nechirvan expressed that the Kurdistan region ready to provide any assistance to solve problems and achieve security and stability.

 

In a meeting held in Erbil  Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, and Mr. Matthew Tueller, the US Ambassador to Iraq, discussed the latest developments in Iraq and the demonstrations in Baghdad and the central and southern provinces of the country, stressing that the protection of security and stability, cooperation and coordination Working together between the Iraqi parties and dealing with the situation and events is the duty and responsibility of all.

 

The dialogue to solve the problems of Erbil - Baghdad and the efforts to reach an agreement on the issues of the general budget and oil, and the latest developments in the region and other issues of concern to the two sides was another aspect of the meeting.
