Barzani Receives Nineveh Governor in Erbil

President Masoud Barzani President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) received on Tuesday the Governor of Nineveh, Najim al-Jabouri, in Erbil.

Barzani's office said in a statement that the pair exchanged views on the latest developments in Mosul and other areas in Nineveh province.

They also discussed the need to reconstruct the areas liberated from the Islamic State (IS) in the country, the statement added.

Barzani and al-Jabouri further shed light on the affairs of the IDPs as well as the obstacles they encounter in their way to return home.
