PM Barzani Attends Munich Security Conference

Leading a Kurdistan Regional Government delegation, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is heading to Germany to take part in Munich Security Conference 2020.

While in Munich on 14-16 February, PM Barzani is scheduled to hold a range of meetings with several world leaders to discuss regional issues, including the current situation in Iraq as well as Kurdistan’s desire to expand its ties with the international community, according to a press release.

As the Kurdish prime minister stated previously, he also intends to highlight the role of the Peshmerga forces in the war against the Islamic State. He will also discuss a closer international cooperation to maintain the pressure on the terrorist group until it is fully eradicated.
