PM Barzani Meets with Arab Leaders in Munich

The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, on Saturday met with a number of Arab leaders on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

According to an official press release, Barzani received the secretary-general of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who underscored the progress in Kurdistan Region, praising President Masoud Barzani and the political leadership of the Kurdistan Region for their achievements.

PM Barzani also held a separate meeting with the Jordanian Foreign Minister Aiman Safadi, with whom he discussed the bilateral ties while hailing the historic relations between the Kurds and Jordan.

The latest developments in Iraq and around the region were also on the agenda of the meeting.
