Kurds Committed to Peace: Barzani and Baydemir Discussed latest political developments across the Middle East, as well as the current situation for Kurds in the region.

Kurdish politician and former member of the Turkish parliament, Osman Baydemir, was received by prominent leader and president of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, on Wednesday in Erbil.

Barzani and Baydemir exchanged views on the latest political developments across the Middle East, as well as the current situation for Kurds in the region.

“They stressed Kurd’s commitment to peaceful dialogues in hopes of finding a solution to the issues,” reads a press release by Barzani Headquarter.

They also discussed the necessity for unity among Kurdish political parties in the face of the current challenges.
