President Barzani welcomes Ambassador Michael Rentanar.

On Sunday, February 21, 2021, Salahaddin President Massoud Barzani welcomed Michael Rentanar, the ambassador of Netherlands to Iraq.

In a meeting attended by Mr. Hans Akerboom, the Dutch consul in Erbil, the Dutch ambassador to Iraq appreciated President Barzani’s historical role in the Kurdish people’s struggle and the protection of stability and the war on terror. He also stressed that his country that assisted Iraq, the Kurdistan Region and the Peshmerga forces in the war on terror remains.

In the same meeting, exchange views about how to develop Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom Netherlands and contribution of Holland have been made in agriculture and various other fields.
