A delegation from the National Wisdom Movement visited the political office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the Secretary of the Political Bureau announced in a press interview that there are efforts to form an alliance between the Kurds, Shiites and Sunnis, and adds that passing the budget is a measure of their sincerity with us.
In a press statement, Fazil Mirani, Secretary of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, declared that "the formula for governance in Iraq is a failure,”, and although the brothers in Baghdad boast and describe the rule as sovereign, but in reality it is not the same and the state administration formula is not like that as it consists of a failed process. Unfortunately, this is the problem of all nations, so rights are taken and not granted, no one gives charity to us, we as the people of Kurdistan are much older in Iraq than the Arabs in current geography call Iraq, and we live on our land that’s called Kurdistan and its became a part of Iraq. Before the World War, Kurdistan was not part of the geography of Iraq, but we are now part of Iraq. New unfavorable conditions arose in and I said as long as we are in Iraq, we are part of this Iraq, but when we leave Iraq, we will become good neighbors to Iraq. We have to obtain our rights, no one gives them to us, and this cannot be achieved in these circumstances because obtaining rights requires subjective and objective reasons. Even if objective reasons are present, it cannot be achieved without a reason. Furthermore, Kurdistan cannot achieve its goal if it remains scattered, each on one side we need to have unified front to protect the right of our people.
The Secretary of the Political Bureau added, "They came to bring the Kurdish political component together with some Shiite components. They are also, like us, not united. They also have the Sadrist movement, Iraqis and others, Nasr and Wisdom. They aim to form an alliance of Kurdish majority with a Shiite and Sunni majority to run in the upcoming elections and take over power and govern in the upcoming election. If the opposition were 50 minus 1 then the two sides would not be successful and 50+1 is also not a good minority to govern with, and this country would not be satisfied with stability
Mirani asserted, "We will study with the PUK and Change Movement and other parties the issue of forming an alliance and consult with each other. It is good if there is such an alliance, but we have to reach an agreement on a program of work, so not to prejudice the constitution is one of the basic conditions for the Kurds that some of them intend." Reviewing the constitution and making changes to it, and according to the belief of some chauvinists, and think because the Kurds have internal differences, and they can in this case manipulate the three Kurdish governorates, in my opinion. Whatever our internal differences we have to be about national issues united in voice and position.
Fazil Mirani indicated that the rights of the Kurds are not only financial dues, there are many rights for the Kurds. The finances are repeated every year once, we have lost a group of important jobs in Iraq, and secondly, are we partners in this country or participants? If we are partners, we have to be in another situation, and if we are participants, then this is another issue.
