The Kurdistan Democratic Party Political Bureau release appreciation statement

The recent death of Dr. Rozh Nuri Shawais on Monday, February 15, 2021, was a major loss to our people as whole and the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Dr.Rozh was a well-known politician, intellectual, activist, and diplomat, and had a proud history and an tirelessly participated in the struggle of our people to regain its rights, his death  is great lose to our nations as whole and Kurdistan Democratic party particularly.

In this sorrowful event, we express our appreciation to the people whom were with us at Dr. Ruzh’s funeral and those expressed their sincere sympathy. We expressed our great respect and gratitude to all the people, leaders, secretaries, and leaders of the political parties and parties in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq. We thank diplomatic representatives, consulate, the ambassador, international organizations in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq and government around the world and the representatives of all components, religious communities whom involved in the funeral of the late Dr Rozh Nuri Shawais, or through statement, letters and contacts inside and outside the Kurdistan Region, expressed their condolences to the President Masoud Barzani, the political bureau and other departments of our party.

Your sympathy, comfort and participation in this downhearted event are a great relive to the family of the late Dr Rozh Nuri Shawais and our party. Your attitude and caring about this sad event are much appreciated again.

We hope and pray to the Great Lord keep everyone from the plague and the misery, and bless the soul of our dear Dr.Ruzh.
