Secretary of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party: the people of Kurdistan and the political leadership have always been part of the solution and not the other way around

Secretary of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Fadhil Mirani received Jordanian Consul General in Kurdistan Faez Khoury.

Mr Mirani accentuated the current political situation in Iraq that it is experiencing complex circumstances and on the level of responsibility its political factions put Iraq’s interest above all considerations. He reaffirmed to Mr Khoury that the Kurdish and Jordanian people have close bilateral relations.

For his part, Jordanian Consul Mr Khoury said he satisfied of the meeting, and the progress achieved in the region in terms of security while also praising the perception of Kurdistan Regional Government leadership.

The Head of KDP Foreign Relations Office Hemin Hawrami was also present at the meeting.
