President Masoud Barzani welcomes Dr Ali Qaradaghi, General Secretary of the International Union of Muslim Scientists

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, President Masoud Barzani welcomed Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, secretary-general of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, a joint delegation from the University of Human Development and the Human Rights Organization in Kurdistan.

The meeting discussed the political situation and the latest developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and beyond. In that meeting, views were exchanged on charitable affairs and the importance of humanitarian organizations and how to cooperate in helping the Kurdistani community. It also emphasized the need to take over the high values of society and promote healthy and national education.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Fazel Mirani, secretary general, Mr. Hoshyar Zebari and Mr. Mahmood Muhammad, members of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, attended the meeting.
