President Masoud Barzani receives Mauritanian Ambassador to Iraq

On May 26, 2021, President Masoud Barzani received the Mauritanian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Sidati W Ahmed Isha.

 

President Barzani welcomed and thanked the Mauritanian Ambassador to Iraq for his contribution to the Kurdistan Region, as his term comes to an end.

 

During the meeting, President Barzani expressed his appreciation for the struggle and sacrifice of the people of Kurdistan, while highlighting the peaceful culture, and the coexistence prevailing among Kurds. He noted that the Kurdistan Region has a well-established infrastructure that will enable it to achieve a prosperous future, and he also wished to develop the economic and investment relations of the Kurdistan region with other countries on the African continent.

 

During the farewell meeting, President Barzani wished the Ambassador success with his future work, and expressed delight in further strengthening relations between the two sides.
