President Barzani speaks on the phone with the Federal Prime Minister

President Masoud Barzani spoke on Saturday, June 5, 2021, by phone with the Federal Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi.

During the call, the Prime Minister condemned the attack launched by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants on the Peshmerga forces, and expressed his sincere condolences to President Barzani.

The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between the federal forces and the Peshmerga forces in order to protect the borders, restore stability in those areas and prevent any interference.
