President Masoud Barzani receives chairman of the United For Iraq party

On Sunday, June 6, 2021, President Barzani received a delegation of the United For Iraq Party headed by, Osama al-Nujaifim Chairman of the party.

During the meeting, views and opinions were exchanged on political developments in Iraq. The upcoming elections in Iraq were highlighted and both sides stressed that they should be held as scheduled.

Both sides also expressed satisfaction with the international community's eagerness to support the elections. The situation in the Nineveh Province was another focus of the meeting and the two sides stressed the need to consolidate the principles of democracy and a civil state in Iraq.
